Kira lives with her husband and two daughters on a 4-acre homestead in Savannah, Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, she envisioned herself climbing the ranks in the big career world. However, God had other plans for her. Kira married her middle-school sweetheart, and a few years into marriage, while running her own social media marketing company, she began to hunger for more.
More love. More purpose. More order. Thankfully, God provided the more. When she began to walk in her faith, she started saying “yes” to the Lord. The fruits were overly abundant. They were sweet to taste. She shares these fruits now with whoever takes the time to slow down enough to have a real, meaningful conversation. Whether that be in her home with her family, the classroom, in front of engaged couples at Pre-Cana Marriage Prep Retreat, in workshops or one-on-one meetings, during Militia of the Immaculata meetings, or in the backyard with the animals and Farm to Jesus friends, Kira strives to live out the call to offer her prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of each and every day to the Lord.
Let’s talk. From young adults to seasoned ones, small groups to auditoriums, everyone benefits from conversations about God.
“Thank you, women who are mothers! You have sheltered human beings within yourselves in a unique experience of joy and travail. This experience makes you become God’s own smile upon the newborn child, the one who guides your child’s first steps, who helps it to grow, and who is the anchor as the child makes its way along the journey of life. Thank you, women who are wives! You irrevocably join your future to that of your husbands, in a relationship of mutual giving, at the service of love and life.”
Pope St. John Paul II
